Commercial Blockwork
Blockwork continues to form a significant part of our commercial masonry work.
Our crews deliver large blockwork packages including internal and external walls, retaining walls and core-filled blockwork, with the resources to manage projects where programme, access and coordination with other trades are critical.
It’s work that often happens behind the finished product, but getting it right is an important part of keeping the rest of the build moving.
Architectural Brickwork
Masonry isn’t always about volume.
Projects involving feature brickwork, curved sections, detailed patterns or non-standard layouts require a different level of planning and attention from the team on site.
A recent example is our work at the Broadmeadows Law Courts, where our team completed architecturally designed brickwork featuring Chillingham White bricks. The design incorporated curved bricks, projecting sections ranging from 25mm to 75mm, and hit-and-miss detailing.
It’s the type of work that shows the skill behind masonry when the brickwork itself becomes part of the architectural design.
